Hello, and thank you for visiting me. I've been shooting now professionally since 2000. I first began shooting because as a child, I was always drawn to a camera for some reason. So I decided one day to buy a camera and take some photo classes and the rest is history. I found out that I have a "natural eye" when it came to photography so I decided to pursue it full time and learn all aspects of the field. I don't claim one discipline such as a "portrait" photographer or"sports" photographer because I like to shoot it all, so I just call myself a "Photographer". I've shot out of the country on multiple occasions including a trip to Africa where I documented a student trip for 5 weeks. I've shot several major award shows

and live events for over 10 years now. 

Photographer for the Nashville Venom, an Indoor

Football League team for two years. I've marched in Jena, La during the March on Jena to support and document this historic event. The list goes on so I hope you enjoy the photos in my portfolio and I hope to work with you soon. -James C.
